Workers with higher levels of wellbeing are more productive: they do more tasks per hour and adhere more closely to their schedule.

This is based on a recent paper from Oxford University. They looked at thousands of telephone agents and used weekly surveys to map wellbeing to administrative data on behavior and performance.

Not only were workers higher in wellbeing more productive (more calls) — they also performed better (converted more calls to sales).
